Pricing

Prices displayed are from, and are subject to availability. We regularly check the price of all the holidays and flights we advertise to ensure that they are available at the prices shown. However we cannot guarantee the availability of a holiday or flight at an advertised price. The prices shown are based on certain occupancy levels for the accommodation. The price of holidays and flights are in sterling usually inclusive of all taxes unless otherwise indicated. Unlike other companies we do not charge for using any credit cards but a booking fee of £10 per person will be charged.

AOA - Allocation on Arrival

The tour operator will allocate your accommodation on arrival at the departure airport. It may include accommodation that has not been previously brochured.

Special Requests 

The forwarding of special requests including those of a customer with special needs does not constitute a guarantee that the tour operator or carrier can meet these.

Ticket on Departure 

If you have booked near the departure date then tickets cannot be sent out to you by post. Instead they can be collected from the appropriate tour operator's ticket desk at the airport. Charges for tickets on departure varies from £0-£15 per person depending upon the tour operator. You will need the tour operator's booking reference as stated on the receipt or given to you when you book.

Ratings

All accommodation ratings including any star ratings are the Tour Operator's own. They may differ from the accommodation's official rating.

Tickets

Tickets are normally despatched 10 days before date of departure. If you do not receive your tickets 7 days before date of departure please contact Customer Services on 0870 460 0420.

Receipts

For your protection and in accordance with the Civil Aviation (Air Travel Organiser' Licensing) Regulations 1995 GB Travel Ltd acts as retail agents for Air Travel Organiser's Licence (ATOL) holders. After booking your holiday with us you will be sent a receipt. The ATOL part of the receipt details items provided by the Tour Operator and is covered by the Tour Operator's ATOL licence from the CAA. The non ATOL receipt covers goods and services provided by GB Travel Ltd. GB Travel Ltd is a member of the Association of British Travel Agents (ABTA) and is fully bonded with our unique Bond number G5256.

Car Hire 

You will need to produce the driving licence of all drivers when you collect your car. Various countries and car rental companies have different policies with respect to age and driving records. All convictions for driving offences must be declared.

Additional insurance cover over the legal minimum is recommended when renting cars, especially in the USA.

Ages

The age of children relates to the whole of the period when they are away including the day of return. If a child's birthday occurs during the holiday including the day of return then the new age must be stated. Travel may be refused if the date of birth according to the child's passport disagrees with the age on the tickets. All the times shown are based on the 24 hour clock and are local. Times 00.01 to 12.00 are AM (morning). Times 12.01 to 24.00 are PM (afternoon).

Passports

British Citizens require a valid full ten year British passport for travel outside the British Isles. Certain destinations may require at least six month's validity remaining on the passport on the date of return. If you have difficulties please contact Customer Services on 0870 460 0420.

Non British Citizens including other EU nationals should contact the embassy, high commission or consulate of your destination for up-to-date advice on passport requirements.

Visas

Visas may be required for British Citizens for entry to non EU countries. Visas may also be required for longer stays over three months in certain EU countries.

Immigration, visa and entry restrictions may apply both in the EU and elsewhere for other nationalities, including other EU nationals, and British Citizens who have conditions on their entry to the UK.

Health

For medical advice regarding your holiday destination or journey, including vaccinations, you should contact your general practitioner. The Department of Health leaflet 'Health Advice for Travellers' is available from the Health Literature Line on freephone 0800 555777.

Insurance

It is the policy of GB Travel Ltd, only to provide travel if: all the party are covered by an insurance policy purchased through GB Travel Ltd. GB Travel Ltd offers excellent holiday insurance through the Ketteridge Group and underwritten by Professional Travel Insurance Company Limited or all the party are covered by another policy which provides the same or better levels of cover and GB Travel Ltd is in written receipt of the policy details by fax or letter within 48 hours of booking.

Receipt of the details of an alternative policy and/or the charging of an insurance administration fee does not constitute an acceptance, qualification or endorsement by GB Travel Ltd that the alternative policy provides adequate cover or protection.

Payment

All outstanding balances for your holiday are due to be paid to us at least ten weeks before date of departure. You can pay your balance by sending cheques, payable to GB Travel Ltd to the following address: GB Travel Ltd, 1a Yoden Way, Peterlee County Durham, SR8 1BP

It would help us if you could copy the holiday reference number onto the back of any cheques. Alternatively you can call Customer Services on 0870 460 0420 to arrange for payment by credit/debit card.

It is your responsibility to ensure that all members of your party have valid passports, visas, health vaccinations and insurance cover for the travel being undertaken.

Data Collection 

All data collected via this site remains confidential and will not be used by anyone else other that GB Travel Ltd for its own purposes and marketing.
